Er wird haupts\u00e4chlich in der Eisen- und Stahlindustrie eingesetzt, um die hei\u00dfe Luft, die von den Winderhitzern zum Hochofen kommt, abzudichten. Eine maximale Isolierung zwischen Hei\u00dfwind und Armaturenau\u00dfenseite wird durch eine Kombination aus patentiertem Isoliermaterial mit einer feuerfesten Auskleidung erreicht. Dieses System spart eine Menge Energie durch reduzierte Wasserk\u00fchlung und verl\u00e4ngert gleichzeitig die Lebensdauer der Schieber infolge geringerer W\u00e4rmebelastung und Spannungen. Geh\u00e4usesitz und Schieberplatte werden durch Wasser gek\u00fchlt. Die inneren K\u00fchlwasserkan\u00e4le wurden in jahrelanger Erfahrung von VCL entwickelt und optimiert, um so effizient wie m\u00f6glich zu sein.
